"Lord Tyrith is a great man. My goodbrother was very fond of him and Paegon did not give praise lightly." Elia couldn't hide the sadness in her voice. There were still times she hoped it was all a dream and she would wake to a letter from Aery, walk into a morning court and hear Paegon's voice. She didn't attend those anymore- the urge to throw one of her darts at William Stark's throat was too strong to ignore.
She laughed, her mood lightened by Tymor's words. He'd probably die of shock if he ever had a clue as to what his little sister had gotten up to during that walk. "You did your duty quite admirably- and it was my pleasure to see Toria safely away."
Elia's eyes took on a teasing glint. "I don't think you would need to fear Toria leaving anywhere alone. I'd rather say you mean that neither of us left in company likely to cause any scandal." Though that had more to do with these Northern gossips having a slight lack of imagination in certain directions.
