At first, Elia's guards wouldn't let Toria past. Given what she'd heard, it was understandable for them to be protective...but she wanted to see her friend. If Elia herself requested that she leave and come visit another time, that was one thing. This wasn't the first time her guards had attempted to turn away visitors without actually informing Elia who was there to visit.
Pushing past the guards just enough for her hand to knock on Elia's door, she called in, "Elia, it's me. Toria. Are you willing to see visitors? Your guards seem to want to make the decision for you, but I'd prefer to find out directly from you."
