Gwyn sighed mostly to herself as she thought of the Septa. She wasn’t so hopeful that Brandon would distract the woman for as long as needed but it was the only solution she could think of. She brightened as she thought of her brother’s little stuffed wolf that he loved so. “Oh of course we’ll take that.” Gwyn too thought it was a stupid name for a doll, but she almost felt sorry for the little boy that his imagination was such that he could only name it after what it was. Really, he was a dull little boy.
“Where should we kidnap him too?” She asked more to herself than anything as she thought, eyes moving to her bedspread. “We might as well practice in the tunnels, if that’s where we’ll find bandits on our way out.”
That decision made she listened to what her sister was saying, and was immediately taken with the last idea. “Oh, Genna, that’s perfect!” In fact, she hugged her sister close in her excitement over sneaking on the wagons and traveling north. How they might get back to Winterfell they could decide later. Perhaps they would even hide in their old woods, and simply watch their home through the trees. “We’ll sneak away on the wagons,” she said with a determined nod.
She looked at her sister for a moment longer, trying to assure herself that that was all that had been wrong. “You’re very thoughtful to be so concerned with us getting back to Winterfell properly,” she said with a grin then. The ‘thoughtful’ was said in the way that adults had spoken to them on occasion. She thought it was a very nice compliment for her sister. She looked back around the room then and sighed. “I wish we could go in the tunnels now…but we’ll need to wait. You’ll have your needles and cloak ready on time won’t you? I’ll give two quick knocks so you know it’s me.”
