“She said that?” The girl asked in a loud whisper, fascinated. She had missed so much while she had been sleeping and sick! She couldn’t be jealous over this though because it was simply too fascinating!
“Well, we’ll have to think of some way to get rid of that terrible Septa,” she said darkly, arms crossing. She was surprised the woman wasn’t in the room at that very moment, being a pest as she’d been. Mother had allowed her outside for a few hours the previous day and all the woman had done was told her not to exert herself, not to do this, not to do that! Couldn’t she see that Gwyn wasn’t at all sick anymore?
She shrugged lightly then as the thought of testing out their torture methods…questions, on Brandon brought her spirits back up. “Though yes, we’ll wake him up from his nap. He always sleep too long anyway. I think that he’ll very much appreciate being up at a reasonable time.” Well, he probably wouldn’t appreciate being poked the way they had in mind but he often missed out on the best lessons because he was too unintelligent to understand them.
She waited then for her sister to reply and tell her what might be the matter. She certainly looked distracted, the poor dear. Maybe she might need to get her something. Gwyn raised her hand to her sister's forehead, imitating what the adults had done with her in times like this. Her sister felt as she might have expected.
“Oh,” she began uncertainly, as if she hadn’t considered the possibility that her twin wouldn’t wish to go there immediately. She thought for a moment, biting her lip. “Yes, actually that’s a very good idea, Genna,” she said, happy once more, “They’ll know we intend to go to Winterfell but if we go somewhere else first then that really will fool them. Would you like to choose where we hide?” She felt like the very generous older sister, allowing her little sister to choose where they might go to hide out. Genna seemed to know of more places around them than Gwyn did however. She had been too busy missing Winterfell on the ride up to pay the new countryside much attention.
