"She did! She just fell over. Even Lady Kaelyn didn't fall over." their mother was so high-strung, as their uncles always put it, Genna had been disappointed. "You would have laughed so much at her face. I got a spanking even. So I'm glad you couldn't feel that part. But I guess I disappointed Lord William again- I haven't seen him for weeks." Genna didn't mind admitting that hurt more- to Gwyn anyway. She had loved Lord William Stark once, but that had been a long time ago when she was young and foolish. She knew better now.
"Thank you," Genna told Amalyia as she took the cider. She waited for the woman to leave and offered the cup to Gwyn. No sense in waiting when you could share anyway.
"Did you know- boys look funny naked. Not just Brandon and Ned- all of them, I guess. When you're free, we'll bathe with them again and you can see. Mathis found his sister's soaps and oils and the whole garden smelled lovely. It still does, I think. We upset the fountain a little, though."
Gwyn's plans for meeting and adventuring were as always, excellent. Adventuring was much better when Gwyn was there to plan it. "We should take our warm cloaks in case. And chalk to mark the path- Jaer Sand - I told you about him, I think? He's Uncle Tyrith's new sellsword and he's got eyes like the Targaryens. He looks like a prince too. But anyway, he told me there are sometimes theives or guards even who get lost in the passages and never come back... you don't think there might still be a very small dragon lurking in them somewhere?" As that would obviously require that they take some daggers and maybe a stick.
