Gwyn's face lit up the moment she laid eyes on her sister. She felt like she hadn't seen the girl in forever! It had probably only been a day or so but it certainly felt like a very long time not to have even seen her. Gwyn too wished she could still share a room with her sister. It was so lonely having a large room by yourself with no one to tell stories to.
The girl took the opportunity to grin as she shifted slightly so that her sister could better see her new dress. "Thank you," she said politely. She looked down at it then sighed. "I thought that if I wore it today they would let me at least visit the garden but they haven't. They're very mad because yesterday..." Though the maid was looking at them and the girl simply shrugged lightly, continuing to hold the map under herself. That and maybe a small, small bit of her was jealous that Genna had apparently gone to the market with someone. She couldn't even leave her room!
When at last her sister had the maid off the girl sat up and pressed the folded piece of paper into her hand. She had missed her sister so! Genna was just as good as she was at getting people out! "It's a map," she whispered excitedly then, voice loud enough for her sister to hear but quiet enough so that the pesky guard outside wouldn't hear a thing. "Of the tunnels there," she motioned toward the door, assuming that her sister would know what she meant. "Brandon visited, he told me there are dragon bones in the basement and he thought I wouldn't find them, but I will you know. That's why they're all upset, because I went looking yesterday. I wish you could have come Genna. I've already gone that route," she pointed quickly along the line that ended in an X, "So I'll need to try another next time. Will you come with me?" Pure excitement shone in her eyes as she looked toward her sister, hoping for an affirmative answer.
