Gwyn looked down at her hands lost in thought. "Mother never talks about it, no. But she talks of Winterfell, and father too. Sometimes they talk of Aunt Lilyanna at Casterly Rock--we've visited her before once when we were babies, mother says. I don't remember it at all, but mother and father have taken us there before. Why not the Eyrie unless they didn't want to see the people there? I didn't even see any other Arryns at the feast yesterday except for Aunt Hester, but the lord of Lannister was there with all his family."
Not having anything to do with her hands, Gwyn broke a loaf of bread into two and placed half back into the basket. She held onto the other half and pulled off a small bite as if to eat, but she wasn't hungry. "Maybe the Arryns don't like us," she said sadly. "I'm glad Hester does at least, but the rest of her family hasn't even come to meet us."
