Lily had done her mingling, first at Tyrith's side, but now he was with their daughter and Lily was making rounds on her own -- or rather, taking a break before speaking with others. Being sociable was tiring work, and while it was something that became easier with time, there was never a shortage of new people to meet and become acquainted with. She couldn't meet all of them, not in one night, not if she tried.
She took her seat and let one of the servants pour her a glass of wine. It was good but not particularly noteworthy. She felt her face flush, and sat back against the high-backed chair, quietly observing.
