"Ah, good." He turned to inspect the new find and raised his brows in appreciative surprise. "The color looks well on you. I would hardly know you'd just been dragged from the ocean mere moments ago." He walked to the table and poured her some water, and slid the cup toward her with an amused look. "Drink. I don't know how long you've been drifting but I dare say long enough that you'll be doing yourself harm if you don't get some water down."
He took a seat in the chair, long legs sprawling out easily as he looked her over again. "Tell me, Sindra, what ship was that you on? And what were you doing aboard it, exactly?"
