Elia held Jaehaerys' gaze for a long moment as his hands brushed aside her garment. Her lips turned in the ghost of a smile. "As you will," she said softly.
Harmon coughed and cast a quelling look at Elia. "Being difficult will not hasten this through, princess."
"No." Elia grinned. "But it does make it more entertaining."
Harmon rolled his eyes and continued cutting the bandages away. He was careful as he worked but the motion and pulling shot the pain straight through her. She blanched but kept her eyes on Jaehaerys. She frowned at the expression on his face, feeling self-concious for the first time in a very long while.
"Jaer?" she asked worriedly, her voice strained as Harmon removed the last of the bandages. She didn't look at the wound. She didn't want to see it, just wanted it gone.
