"Your Grace," said Tymor, bowing his head properly. "Do forgive me. Your disguise had me mostly fooled beyond feeling that I knew you somewhere."
Now that he'd had the man's identity pointed out to him...now he could see it. He felt silly, now. Toria had last seen Jaehaerys when she was roughly eight or nine years of age. His last visit with Jaehaerys had been less than half that amount of time away.
"And yet Toria determined your true identity. Clever girl."
He smiled faintly. It was hard to smile after his morning wakeup, but seeing Jaehaerys alive and well did help his mood. He thought well of the man and though they could not be considered close by any stretch of the imagination, they could be considered friends. Drinks, socialization and wenching. That had been fun.
"It is good to see you again, though I do wish it was under better circumstances."
