Episode. Dragons Fall. Elia's Chamber.
Who: Elia, servants etc Where: Elia's chambers. When: Day 28. Early morning a few minutes after the previous installments. Rating: R Status: Open.
Syrah Sand pushed by the guard at the princess's door and ignored the look on his face. Derran could damn well suffer for the inconvenience he'd caused her. Of all the nerve- telling someone they'd kissed? Even if they'd really done a lot more than that, it was the principle of the matter. And he'd actually seen that idiot Dayne girl's even more idiot maid back to the Maidenvault. She couldn't wait 'til they were back at Sunspear- she'd find his brother and let Derran catch them kissing in the garden. Or maybe she would just swear off boys altogether. Maybe she should try having a bit of fun with real men. Ser Dymon Dalt was a man grown and he was bound to know pillow tricks boys like Derran would never figure out... Or hopefully Elia would someday invite her to share Daryon's bed with her...
Syrah froze in her tracks. The princess lay in a pool of blood in the midst of the bed, stray down drifting on a breeze from the open window. An arrow? An arrow like what took Paegon? Syrah's scream echoed on the stones, "Princess!!"
The sound had brought the guards scrambling in behind her but Syrah didn't turn as she reached Elia's bed. Next to Elia's still form, the blood had soaked the coverlet, over a small... something... oh Gods. And a dagger protruded from the bed. Feathers from the slashed pillow had turned red where they landed on the blood... No. This wasn't real oh please this wasn't real. Elia couldn't.... fucking Starks they wouldn't have... The Sun would slay them all if this was real... "My princess, wake up..." She put a hand on Elia's warm shoulder. "Please, Princess Elia." She could see Elia was breathing now, but the guards were already swearing and running for Ser Dymon...
