Re: Back to Toria's room
Ser Geron did as he was told, bringing the chest to his lord silently.
"I will send Desmera along shortly, father," said Toria, curtseying briefly before leaving.
It was on the tip of her tongue to point out that she'd been the one to offer coin in the first place as a price, but that was the sort of thing one said privately. She wouldn't be disrespectful towards her father. Disagree with him when they were just speaking privately, on the other hand...yes. As well as occasionally remind him that regardless of how he saw his little girl, she was sixteen, not six years old. She was an obedient daughter. Submissive and timid, no. But obedient.
When she got to Gwyn's room with Desmera, one of the Stark servants was there, sitting by Gwyn's bedside.
"You look like you've been sitting there for quite some time," Toria remarked.
"I have, my lady," said the servant, bowing her head. "But Queen Kaelyn needs her rest and I's going to be the one that lets her have that rest she deserves."
"Oh, without a doubt," said Toria. "But you must be hungry. Desmera and I will sit and watch over Gwyn for a while so that you can get yourself some food and water, and stretch your legs a bit."
"That's very generous of you, Lady Toria," said the servant, rising with a smile. "Thank you."
Desmera watched and made sure the woman was all the way down the hallway before approaching Toria's room. She felt a little better knowing that Lord Lannister himself was there with this stranger.
(OOC: Feel free to have Desmera come in whenever is convenient. She'll be outside the door and watching for the return of the Stark servant, too.)
