Re: Back to Toria's room
Jaehaerys had kept a careful distance from the maid Toria had sent into the room. She reminded him of his nurse, who he was suddenly glad to know was in Dorne, as Elia and then Henry's children had been under her care. The idea of two such ladies in one castle was enough to send even brave knights looking for quests elsewhere. He had noticed that Ser Geron seemed to have a similarly great respect for Desmera.
As Toria entered her looked up, feeling a mixture of relieved and aprehensive. Lord Lannister. Tyrith. True enough he hadn't dealt with the Warden of the West more than a handful of times but this would be a test, he was sure.
"Rewards is a topic I'll be glad to discuss," he said with a shrug. He bowed just deeply enough to get away with it, keeping close to the insolent Tyroshi he had played for a year now. "Lord Lannister. Your daughter says rightly. I might be the one, but I'll make no promises, my lord. It may well be nothing in my experience that has her."
