Tyrith followed Toria into her rooms and surveyed the scene within. Desmera looked dangerously perturbed by all this nonsense of a man being in her lady's rooms, Geron looking... well, if Geron had emotions Tyrith had never been aware of them. And then... Jaer.
He looked closely at the young man, but didn't see what Toria had been talking about. Jaer was perhaps about the right age, right height, but his hair was dark, and there was some quality to him that was far different from the ever chivalrous crown prince. And then he saw the eyes. Indigo. Jaehaerys' eyes, but in a sailor's face. The man could have been just a by-blow of some nobleman...
