Jaehaerys was mostly silent as they entered the Keep. He looked around, taking note of the changes- new tapestries in a couple halls, a statue or two changed positions, but eerily it looked mostly untouched. He sighed.
Once as they passed a series of tapestries depicting the great houses, he caught a flicker of motion from Toria and glanced over, but the maiden was already focused on explaining their arrangements.
"This ought to bring on some interesting rumors," he observed. "A lady bringing a sailor to her door... Sounds as if you might be spending too much time with Elia of Dorne." He couldn't help but chuckle. He hadn't seen any servants, but in the Red Keep that hardly meant anything. Even the walls reported to Polonius and gods only knew who the floors whispered to.
He looked around the rooms Toria held. They had been Aeny's, he realized with a start, before Rhaeys had been named as Kings Hand and they moved to the Tower of the Hand. ... but now someone else held that office. It wasn't pleasant to realize he didn't know where to find his cousin in his own castle.
"We await your pleasure, Lady Toria," Jaer said with a half laugh as Ser Geron's glance went even stonier than he had thought possible.
