More than that it's easy, I think the important thing here to do is that it's the right thing to be doing here. I think it's an outreach on our part has been long overdue and particularly for the affected students who I can only imagine must be feeling a wide spectrum of emotions. A death and loss like this leaves a space for certain and is always a difficult time. Given the specifics of this situation, I can only imagine there are going to be more than a small number of students who could use a day spent like this.
Do you have any notions about what film you might watch? I might suggest something with an overtone of acceptance? I trust your judgement in the matter of course, please don't take it as anything more than a suggestion. I'll also touch base with some of the other staff and see if we can't organize small, team orientated games and activities. I'm thinking something to burn off some steam, something to promote unity. I'd also be willing to personally take one or two of the students, if they needed or wanted a release for their aggression.
