Moving was always a chore. Even as a young kid Miles had been roped into doing a fair share of moving duties when his parents had managed to land an apartment in a better part of town. Though the moves themselves were few and far between, the experience instilled in the boy a distaste for the entire process. But here it was not up for negotiation. He needed a place to live that wasn't in a SHIELD facility and lucky for him, his contacts had landed him his own place. All he needed now was a more steady stream of income....or about ten other roommates.
It was mid day when the teen rounded the corner and his eyes fell on his new home. It was a brownstone of moderate height and it was evident it had seen better days. Fortunately for all involved, it was clear someone was attempting to fix the old place up. Miles passed a trio of men in cheap red track suits loitering on a building's stoop before his feet carried him across the street. The young man practically jumped up the steps in anticipation of seeing his very first apartment.

"I suppose it could be worse but not by much." The lack of enthusiasm was aimed not at the apartment but the pair of keys he dangled before him. They were both worn but still bore the repeating patter of two yellow minions. "It was probably inevitable that they'd have them here too." Morales used the keys to open the door and let himself in. It was a moderately sized apartment with a nice living room that blended into a kitchen; a short hall led down to his bathroom and bedroom. All and all, it was far better than he expected.
With the door still open behind him, Miles deposited his duffel bag of belongings into a corner and pulled out his phone. With a grin he turned the forward facing camera on himself and snapped a photo with the apartment splayed out in the background. Maybe he could show Ganke his very first apartment some day. A touch of sadness washed over him and Miles knew the best way to get his mind off of things was to keep himself busy. Swiping over to his music player the new tenant put on some music; the classics his father would say. As music began to fill the room, Miles pilfered the closet and found a broom which he let loose on the apartment. Dust bunnies beware.
