Jane hadn't been too sure about any of this, but she was sure that it was something she needed to at least try. It'd been so long since she'd held the hammer, she didn't know if it'd still allow her to wield it. But there was there. He was supporting her, so it made her feel more confident. She was tingling with anticipation at the thought of feeling the power run through her again. She wasn't particularly hungry for strength, it was just that it made her feel alive in a way she couldn't really explain to most people. Thor had to understand or he would not have given her this opportunity.
The light breeze was cool. It was calming. "Okay." Whenever she was ready. She looked at him. He was so sure. He had always looked sure, even when he wasn't.
Did she just want to pick it up? It was only a few steps over to where the handle lay sticking up at her. It felt like a more humble way to try, but she wanted to see if there was still a connection between her and the hammer itself. Instead of moving toward it, she held out her hand and willed it to herself.
One moment she was Jane Foster, the next she was Thor. Everything about her had changed. She could feel the lightning buzzing through her body. There was a great sigh released as if she'd been holding her breath the entire time. Doubts were washed away. She was still gifted. She was still worthy. "Remind me not to argue with you about these things," she said as she removed her helmet. Her hair was now blonde. It sat beneath her arm as she held Mjolnir lightly in the other.
