"So much for a big happy family," Gert said and then chuckled, "Wait, that's the Fantastic 4's shtick." There was family in there, after all, and they were expected. If the Avengers were supposed to be close and chummy, the team might not be so big. But when you had people like America on the same team as people like Tony, well, things didn't always work out so well. In fact, they often led to clashes of personality. It was one of the reasons why Gert happily sat behind a computer. Her patience for getting people rounded up to do something tended to wear thin.
She replied, "Work. The usual. Looking for answers. Finding some. Getting more questions. Answering those. It's a never ending process." If it did have an end, Gert would be out of a job. There was a creepy job security in the world being a giant mystery and a huge mess. Gert didn't fuss over something like that, but it was something that came to mind on occasion.
"So what'd the Avengers do?" she asked, figuring that America probably had a few things that irritated her if she was talking about wanting to punch them.
