Timeline: Thursday, March 17th; early morning. Description: Clea leaves the Dark Dimension after learning of Xavier's death to aid those on the Earthly plane. Rating: PG.
The news of Charles Xavier's assassination took a moment to reach the Dark Dimension, but when it did, all of the dimensions ambassadors, representatives, wizards, witches, sorcerers and other residents congregated at the steps to the palace. At the top of the steps was their ruler, Clea - the Faltine flames of regency circled her white hair. Veritas, the embodiment of truth, stood beside her, solemn and ominous as a hush fell over the crowd. Clea rose from her seat, feet hovering inches from the ground as she gracefully glided past Veritas and looked over her supporters and followers. Many of them looked tired and stressed from the constant fighting they have done in trying to rebuild the Dark Dimension after the fall of Umar. All of them were tasked with fixing all the wrong that Clea's mother and uncle brought upon the kingdom during their reigns.
Blue eyes scanned the faces of her people, large doe-like and innocent, Clea still had much to learn about the world, but she knew that she needed to be honest with the Dark Dimension beings. Sighing heavily, Clea closed her eyes and reached out for any source of strength she might find lingering out there. Courage was what she had to show while delivering this news.
Clea wasn't a mutant but she was friends with many mutants and she knew Charles Xavier and his desire to live in a world of peace and acceptance. While she might not know the struggle mutants face, she knew that anyone that desired peace as much as Charles was a man she was meant to respect. Lifting her head a little bit, she cleared her throat and nodded, "Charles Xavier, the powerful mutant from Earth, is dead."
She allowed the words to linger in the air as she scanned the faces once more for any sort of reaction. It was delayed, but the sounds of hushed murmurs began to ring through the crowd. Clea nodded and stepped back, moving back to where Veritas floated, Clea hovered above him. "I must return to Earth, in my stead, I leave you. Watch the Dimension, protect it as I would. Send word to those in Luminia to guard the barriers closely. I will return." Veritas bowed low and those still standing by the steps to her palace bowed low as Clea lowered her head briefly.
A single message was cast out from the Dark Dimension, laced with powerful magic to reach it's destination before Clea began her trip to the Earthly plane. It would ring through the single other place she once called home, hoping to find the one grieving the loss of his friend.
