Gert snorted at the mention of the Sylvester Stallone party. That was a story for the ages and Chase rolled his eyes, "You're never gonna let me forget that, are you? Honest mistake." But he knew that if America was around, she'd end up going with Lina. They all knew it and really it just depended on if America was around. The woman was gone frequently enough that there might actually be a chance for Chase. Though it appeared her more recent visit was a sign that maybe she was going to be around.
"Sounds like fun," Gert said, "Movie stars do a better job with diplomacy though. Especially ones that know how to fight." SWORD agents often went through SHIELD training and that meant they knew how to fight. Even Gert knew how to defend herself to a certain degree, though against eight-armed aliens and super-powered heroes, she didn't really stand much of a chance.
"The good ol' days," Gert chuckled and then added, "It's probably better that it is diplomacy. Not as exciting, sure, but most of the time it ends up better for both parties and avoids the 'They started it!' excuse for a war." She studied sociology in addition to psychology, toss that with history and whatever SHIELD taught her and sure, Gert understood the need for a fight but she still preferred not letting things come to blows.
