Shopping was an evil necessity. You had to go out (so that meant going out clothes which weren't really that different from work clothes, so not that big of a deal in the greater scheme of things) and there were people and you had to spend all kinds of money on food. Which was good, food was important, but it was just spending the money, spending the time, navigating these crowds of people in the grocery store. Madison just wasn’t a fan.
So he had gone into the store today with a plan. Get in. Get out. Buy all the processed and ready to heat up foodstuffs.
So far he had sort of archived that last one. His cart was full of frozen meals ready to be microwaved, and a few basic essentials, like pasta, and tomato sauce, and lots of cereal that was more sugar than anything else. It was just taking him longer then he hand anticipated to navigate the isles of the grocery store, and he had gotten stuck in the cereal aisle while debating between Lucky Charms and Sugar Bombs, in the end he had gone with both, because why not both? His pancreas could hate him later . . .
Now it was time to figure out the frozen pizza situation. Easy enough, he had figured. Except not. There had been a lot of choices in the cereal aisle, there were even more choices here. Looking into the glass displays, Madison was staring at a wide array of pizza choices, and not looking where he was going. He gave his cart a push forward, moving it into a collision course with the cart that was coming down the aisle.
