Clint had taken out one of the runners which left Cindy with the other. Her brow furrowed for a moment and she took aim. Her webbing caught the man's feet and he pitched forward suddenly. There was a thump and a pained sound as he fell hard to the ground and Cindy tried to hide her wince.
She turned to look around her. Most of the gang was incapacitated and the rest seemed to have had a sudden desire to change careers. One of them was even holding up his hands and backing towards the wall.
Cindy wanted to make some quip about withdrawals and crime not paying but she couldn't seem to get a phrase to work. Quipping was a lot harder than it sounded. Instead she exhaled and took stock of the room.
