Set Up: Johnny & Bobby
"Let's hope you're right about that," Johnny said. He shot the crowd of protesters a critical look. Some people just didn't have anything better to do with their time. The idea of live and let live was apparently too much for them to grasp. The chants of the protesters and the songs of the supporters started to blend together creating a cacophony of noise.
Johnny shook his head slightly. This was already depressing and the memorial hadn't even started yet. It was going to be a long afternoon. There really wasn't a 'fun' in funeral but the ceremony hadn't commenced just yet.
"You know what," Johnny started, throwing an arm over Bobby's shoulder. "A drink sounds like a good idea." Getting laid didn't sound bad either but there was a time and place for that. Johnny wasn't saying it couldn't happen or he'd have any hangups with it but there was a time and a place. And there was the fact that his sister might kill him.
At least with a drink, Johnny could make the argument that it was more of a toast than anything.
