Rabastan had nothing but excitement and energy this evening. He was an extrovert to an extreme, and loved socializing even with people he didn't know, but it was always better with friends. Yes, he remembered how his dinners with Evan alone went, and remembered them fondly, but he wasn't afraid to break with tradition.
"Evan! Barty!" he greeted them with an enormous smile, arms out in a friendly welcoming gesture. "Or should I say Barty and Evan, Evan and Barty," he added with a wink, a nod to their relationship status. He gave them both a friendly clap on the shoulder.
Then, even though Evan had picked the restaurant, he moved to the hostess and greeted her in his usual friendly, flirtatious manner, calling her by name and asking after her fiance. When she moved to take them to their seats, he turned to grin at his friends again. "Best seats in the house, on me," he said. "And you know, you two are positively glowing. Much as it pains me to say it - and it does - domesticity seems to suit you."
