He had intended his previous statement as an apology, but he had a feeling he'd just ruined it. He wasn't thick, and he knew Morag was at least somewhat interested in him, though it was hard to gauge how much was just her usual teasing. She'd been pretty blunt and forward as long as he'd known her. Ah, well, it had been Pansy's fault, really; he was just telling the truth.
"They're not my sheets," he said, amused, although she had succeeded in getting the image of her in his bed into his head. "They're the school's. And they probably only feel so luxurious because you're used to the roof."
