Draco entered, and moved to close the door behind him. He was holding himself tall and proud, but smiling at his father; what he wanted to talk about was serious, but he planned to ensure that his father was in a good mood first.
It seemed he'd picked a good time; tea took time to consume, and whenever it was present, it generally indicated relaxation. "Is this a good time?" he asked anyway. He put a hand on the chair on the other side of his father's desk, and paused there. "There are a few things I wanted to talk to you about, and it would be best if we didn't have to stop in the middle."
That would reduce the effect he could have in a single conversation, which would be unfortunate. So much of this depended on presenting his case properly.
