Draco looked up from his parchment to greet her with a smirk in return, and set down his quill. It had been a while since they'd had time to themselves, yes, but that really meant that they were overdue. They'd been through quite a bit this year, and he still wasn't entirely sure how he felt about all of it, but the fact was that she still had his loyalty. The Wolfsbane that he'd brewed and sent to Sirius, as part of the bargain to get Pansy back from the Outsiders, was proof enough of that.
"Do you even own a pair of shoes that aren't appropriate for parties?" he asked, mouth twitching. Pansy's love of shoes was hardly a secret. "I suppose you'd be allowed, though, even if you did."
He made a little gesture with his quill, which really only served to indicate the emptiness of the room at the moment, as well as the rather boring task he'd been in the middle of. Boring compared to a party, at any rate. "Welcome to the party room."
