Theodore was definitely an advocate of making one's own destiny. Even when he made mistakes, which he'd done recently, he owned up to them and took it into his own hands to make them right, as best as he could. His destiny was likely to be very different from that of most of the students at this school, of course - at least, if anyone else was interested in healing, he hadn't talked to them about it - but that was beside the point.
"He is my friend, you know," he said, laughing. He and Draco got on each others' nerves a lot - more Theodore getting on Draco's nerves than the other way round - but most of the time, they did get along. At this moment, it was only Theodore's suddenly very open schedule that was problematic for their friendship. "But if he doesn't suspect, I'm not going to tell him."
He took his glass from her, and raised it in toast, smiling. "Good wine and good friends," he said. "I'll drink to that."
