Theodore almost felt guilty about laughing at that, but then he remembered that Draco had called him a madman, and didn't feel quite so bad. "Merlin forbid any of us should have to live in squalor," he said anyway, just to be fair.
He smiled at Daphne. "Well, I can help you out, if you like. I've got far too much time on my hands, for the next couple of weeks - plenty of time for hanging out and cleaning."
Whether he could explain why, he wasn't sure. He was wary of telling anyone that he'd helped a servant, or that he'd pissed off someone like Rosier. At least his friends didn't seem to mind that he had extra time, except for Draco, who had apparently gotten quite used to having evenings to himself while Theodore was in the infirmary.
