It wouldn't do really for a member of the faculty to go ahead murdering the headmistress. Especially in defense of one of the servants. "If it helps, it's real with Bill. It's not the thrall." She gave a supportive smile.
Heartbreak wasn't something Ginny was unfamiliar with. Perhaps in the romantic sense, yes. However, she was all too well acquainted with the loss of someone dear to her heart.
