Theodore watched her silently, trying to convey the fact that he wasn't judging her with his gaze. She had given him the impression that she just had some kind of chronic upset stomach the last time they'd spoken about it, but that wasn't the impression he was getting now.
"Vera," he said softly, "I think you know the reason why your stomach is upset. You don't have to tell me, but if you don't, I can't do much to help you."
He reached into his pocket for the box where he kept all of his potions, which was much bigger on the inside, and withdrew the one she needed to ease her nausea. "Here," he said. "But these only treat the symptoms, they're not a cure."
