"Sorry," Theodore said with a small smile, noticing her blush. "If you don't want me to ask, I won't."
He had thought it was helpful to know his patient's history and be prepared to help them with it, but it apparently embarrassed her. That had absolutely not been his intention. He wanted her to trust him, at least in the capacity of being her healer, although she could have trusted him as a friend, as well.
Sitting down on the stool beside the bed, he looked at her. "I have to admit, I'm a little bit concerned with how often this happens. Have you noticed any correlations that might help explain it? I can make a guess, but I don't think you come to the infirmary every time, so any patterns wouldn't be as clear to me."
