Who: Draco, Blaise, Theo.
What: ROOMIES. Hah.
When: Monday, I guess, I don't know exactly when they're supposed to be moving in.
Where: Gaunt Tower.
Warnings: who knows. TBA.
Of the three of them, Theodore was probably the least unhappy with the punishment. On principle, at least. He'd been terrified of losing his position in the infirmary, or being expelled, neither of which had happened. He really treasured his privacy, but if he had to live with anyone, his friends would have been his first pick. Well, he would have been alright rooming with Draco or Blaise, but the combination was... it was awkward, even if it wasn't obviously so. There was no other word for it. He'd learned that much from their little trip. And it would be even worse if they had to live with anyone else.
Between that experience and the scene he'd walked in on in the infirmary the night before - the details of which he was still trying to scrub from his mind - Theodore had had quite enough of awkwardness. He would find some way to have fun with this, somehow. He had to, otherwise he might end up committed to St. Mungo's for insanity, rather than working there as a healer. That would be unfortunate.
He was the first to Gaunt Tower, it seemed, which was good; that meant he could choose his bed. There were only three beds in the room he'd been assigned, and they all seemed to be empty so far; that was a good sign. There wasn't anyone else moving into Gaunt Tower in the middle of the year, as far as he knew, so the other two beds must be for Draco and Blaise.
He picked the one in the corner, for no reason other than that it was in the corner. Otherwise, there weren't many differences between the beds. He set his trunk down at the end of it and sat down, looking around. It wasn't a terrible room, and they could make improvements; no one had said they had to live the way they had on their trip. They still had the furniture they'd brought to the school themselves, for one thing; all of their couches probably wouldn't fit, but they might be able to manage at least one of them, and a couple of chairs. Maybe this wouldn't be so terrible after all.
