Mmm, her hand felt really nice on his neck. It only added to the happy, lazy feeling Terrence got when under the influence of alcohol. And it was innocent, too; he felt as relaxed as a puppy who'd found a nice warm spot in the sunlight. And he was laughing, laughing at the ridiculousness that her mind came up with, even when inebriated.
Wicked genius, he'd called it ages ago. He was pretty creative, himself, but her crazy ideas often put his to shame. And since it was Ella, he didn't mind in the least.
"I completely agree," he said. "Four years is a long time to wait for world domination, though if you're aiming for Headmistress, you could start while you're still here - perfectly placed for an inside takeover, you know."
He grinned. "I'll just have to occupy myself until then, laying the groundwork for the rest of the world takeover. Hunting people, making money, making connections..."
This was, he realized belatedly, the first time he'd ever told her - or anyone else, for that matter - what it was he really planned to do after school. But she had a right to know, if they were going to rule the world together, and besides, he trusted her. She was chaotic and full of surprises, but he knew without being told that she could keep his secrets. Not that it would be a secret for very much longer.
