In Theodore's opinion, it was the career that was interesting, much more than he was. He didn't particularly care whether he was boring; by some people's standards he already was, with his love of routine and fastidious obsession with his work. But he managed to find time for his friends amongst all that, and they kept pushing his boundaries until he relaxed one of his rules.
If it was worthwhile, of course. He had certainly been convinced that drinking was a pleasant pastime, with the right company. And he had let some of the nicknames he'd acquired become more regular now, as well. He couldn't help associating "Teddy" with Pansy or Blaise, and those associations involved cuddling, hot cocoa, snogging, and more. It was difficult to object to those things.
"No, I won't," he answered, shaking his head. "I'll be trained in all the basics, I'm sure, but I like the idea of doing something like... finding cures for diseases that aren't curable. That'd be brilliant."
He raised his eyebrow at Zach's gesture. It could have almost been a hint that he should eat more of the strawberries, but there was something too... hesitant about it. "Are you expecting me to eat those for you?" he asked, reaching for another one. "Don't mind if I do."
