"Oh sure. Give him over as soon as you tell me how heavy he is." Ginny teased, stretching out her hands. The first few times she'd held her nephew it had been more than a little awkward. She was used to him now though and took the toddler with a small "oof". "That's it. No more sweets for this one." She said, bending her knees a bit to better hold the weight of him.
Fabian, for his part was none too pleased with the fact that he still was being detained and hadn't been set loose on the whole of the Burrow yet. He wiggled in Ginny's arms and kept saying "Gin down! Gin down!" As if his achievement of her name would be reason enough to let him go. His sticky hands found a new home in her already somewhat messy hair and she sighed.
"Oh no. You're not depriving your favourite aunt of her Fabbytime." She shifted his weight to her hip, wincing slightly when he gave a tug at her hair. "Can you say hello to Neville?" She pointed to Neville and in predictable toddler fashion, Fabian turned into the world's shyest two-year old. "Oh. Oh now you want Aunt Ginny to protect you. I see how it is." She gave her brother a grin. "Where's Fleur? Please tell me she's coming tonight too." Ginny wanted as many friendly, peace-keeping faces at that dinner table as possible. Fleur and Fabian were excellent at distracting the others from things.
