Ginny held tight to Neville's hand and gave his arm just a gentle tug to keep him in the shed as Arthur brushed himself off and headed out ahead of them. She deliberately lingered back just for a moment to give her dad a head start back to the house. "See? Easy as pie." She half-laughed, leaning up to give Neville a soft kiss on the cheek.
"If we walk slow we won't have to be in the fight for seats." She said, giving his hand a lazy swing. Her brothers, who generally had their own seats, always managed an upheaval whenever there was someone new coming to dinner. She was sure her mum would save two together for them and she was kind of hoping that by missing the mad dash, they'd almost forget that Neville was joining them and just go to where they usually sat.
