"Days? Surly that can't be right. Have you been to a healer?" Molly said, setting down her wooden spoon and crossing to get a closer look at Neville's face.
Ginny intercepted, but not before she gave him a look that suggested that the conversation about his head injury wasn't quite over, but she didn't want to get into it right there in the kitchen with her mum. Best to keep the topic on the lighter side of things for as long as possible.
"When is Charlie getting here? And Bill and Fleur?" Ginny asked as she guided her mother back to to the stove where something was bubbling a bit violently. She hoped that the answer was soon.
"Charlie said he was going to be late, probably not until dinner is ready and Bill and Fleur will be over as soon as Fabian is finished with his nap." Molly said, sufficiently distracted by whatever it was in the pan that was planning to stage a rebellion.
"Oh. Well, why don't Neville and I head out back and make sure Dad doesn't need help in the shed?" Ginny suggested, tugging on Neville's hand towards the back door. If they could escape before Ron or the Twins noticed, they'd be able to hide somewhere in the garden until reinforcements showed up. Or until Molly realized that Arthur was simply fiddling with Muggle things in the shed as usual and needed no help in that endeavor.
