Terry drew the bow across the strings one more time, then reached up to quickly tweak the peg commanding the worst of the out-of-tune strings. Keeping his eyes on the man who was his father-in-law, he launched into the song he'd written for Tsura.
There came the moment, though, when he couldn't do it any longer--he couldn't look at Mr Aurari when all he really wanted was to see Tsura, to see the light in her eyes as he played this song. He grinned at her as the song built up in intensity and tempo, and he wondered if he'd be able to play it with enough spirit and heart to make Tsura dance--even in front of her parents.
