Sirius looked down at his hand, and felt tears prickle at the corners of his eyes. Never in a million years had he thought Remus would do this--he wasn't an overtly demonstrative sort when it came to things like this.
He blinked rapidly to clear the tears away, then held his hand out for Remus'. Years of decorum as the Black Heir, as well as his own need for loquaciousness, made him unable to do this without saying something. "I feel like I should be reciting some kind of wedding or Binding vows," he said, looking up to meet Remus' gaze.
