Kings hadn't been sure what answer to expect as the whole situation this side of the channel was different. Most his married friends abroad easily enough found time away from their spouses on a regular basis, but here - the way everything was built differed.
But he wasn't disappointed in any way by the answer. James and Lily were still together and doing well after all these years in this place, and that was great. Kings respected all his friends who were in those relationships. He simply hadn't ever found one like it yet.
One eyebrow arched at James's offer to be his wingman. "How are you in a gay club?" he asked lightly as well. He had never had problems picking anyone up, but having a wingman was fun, and it had been forever since he had picked up a man.
Standing as James seemed ready to order, Kings grinned wide, "You've ridden her." He did think of the motorcycle as a her. She had curves and just felt more like a woman than a man, even if she were just a machine. He lingered at the table a moment longer, just to see James's face.
