There really wasn't any innuendo that Kingsley could have said which would have bothered James. Not that he would have been remotely interested even if he hadn't been happily married, but with Sirius and Remus as his best friends, he doubted there was anything that would startle him anymore. Of course, if it had actually been a come-on, he would have been flattered, but politely declined. As it was, the comment just amused him.
He unconsciously copied Kingsley in glancing around the pub as they entered. He was somewhat disguised, though it wasn't the best one he'd ever used. Sometimes he just missed looking like, well, himself. And it had been handy that Edward would be recognizable to Kingsley.
"Got a favorite place to sit?" he asked, since Kingsley seemed to know the place. It did seem like a relatively popular pub, but that wasn't a bad thing; crowds helped them blend in. "Almost a shame we came by motorcycle, really, otherwise I'd buy you a drink."
