Morag had found a sunny corner of the library and spread her books out. She had a stack of things to do and not enough time to do them some days. She wished she could go outside, but the wind had picked up and she didn't want to fight charming every single book and piece of parchment to not blow away. So the sunny corner of the library would suffice for now. She was avoiding people for the moment, finding the comfort of books to be far more enjoyable than trying to navigate the political and social worlds of the academy. She knew eventually, if for other reason than her father's career and her own future, she'd need to at least try, but it was much easier to fly under the radar.
She stretched and opened her copy of Principles of Wizarding Law. Being a solicitor was looking more and more like a promising career for Morag. She didn't want to get involved with arguing criminal law, but the idea of perhaps handling domestic issues or contract law was intriguing. She paged through her notes, thinking magical contracts would certainly be a good avenue. A nice, quiet, office job, something that contributed without forcing her into politics.
She continued with her work, not noticing what else was going on in the library.
