WHO: Ginny Weasley and Romilda Vane WHAT: Consoling and cuddles WHERE: Romi's room WHEN: Backdated to Friday night WHY: Because Ginny could use some girlie time RATING: Lowish STATUS: Incomplete
Ginny had been confining herself to Pansy's room for the past week. She didn't have any desire to talk to anyone, not really and the whispers in the hallway only served to either make her unstable with anger or grief and she really couldn't afford another episode like last spring. It was easier to hide away. To distract herself with other things and to focus on practicing things that Pansy had taught her with her wand.
Still, she skimmed the journals, unable to disconnect herself entirely. She potentially was sadistic. In any case, she was glad she caught Romilda's note. It wasn't until she read it that she realized how much she could use some quality friend time.
She took the slightly longer, though more inconspicuous route to Gaunt Tower, not wanting to deal with stares or whispers in the hall. She was grateful that someone was coming out of the tower and she was able to slip through the portrait hole without having to wait for Romilda to come and fetch her. She skipped up the stairs and gave a knock at the door she knew was her friends, waiting a little anxiously for her to answer.
