It was a completely off the wall idea, but then, so were most of the ideas that popped into Terrence's head. The simple fact was that since he and Anthony had blown up the castle, his access was seriously restricted, and that was a problem. He couldn't visit anyone, much less protect anyone that needed protecting, if he couldn't even get into the bloody building.
On top of that, he was bored. Outsiders weren't coming out to play, and Muggle criminals were uninteresting. He was enjoying making plans with Crouch for hunting together, but he wouldn't have to give that up if he took on a job at the castle, just work around it. He didn't think Diggory was required to stay on the grounds at all times - that might be a deal-breaker, but he'd at least try to negotiate before he gave up on the idea.
So, he'd offered to buy Diggory lunch and propose the idea of being co-instructors. They'd flown against each other before Diggory graduated, and he had a respect for the older boy's talent, not to mention finding him rather amusing as a person. With any luck, this would be a breeze.
Arriving at the agreed upon cafe, he got two seats outside since it was such a warm day, and sat down to wait.
