He could tell there was something on Zach's mind, but, well. Perhaps this was the place where he really should let the boy come up with things on his own. Zach respected his rules and advice, of course, and that was brilliant. But after his teaching days were over, Terrence's expectations would be higher - he would expect Zach to make his own rules. So long as he expected as much from him, it didn't even matter if some of his rules conflicted with Terrence's.
That was the brilliance of making your own rules, really. You could make anything make sense.
