Although it was rather uneventful, Theodore had come to spend most of the day in the infirmary. Without students or most of the staff in the castle, he had no patients, but there were plenty of things to do for someone who was motivated to keep busy. Which, on this occasion, he most definitely was.
He was trying to decide whether to brew any of the potions they were out of, the ones that could be finished within a day, when there was a loud sound from the door. It sounded an awful lot like a falling body.
Without hesitating, Theodore moved quickly to the door and opened it, catching the unconscious girl as best he could when it opened inwards. He got her into the nearest bed and examined her, suspecting that this was the same thing that had affected Ginny on Thursday. Her skin was cold to the touch, so he got a blanket and put in the same IV he'd used for Ginny, to restore fluids and nutrients to her body without her having to keep it down. Yet again, he knew he couldn't keep her overnight, but he was going to give her as much treatment as he could before that happened.
This time he had a bucket ready before he woke her with a spell, ready to catch the mess if she vomited, as Ginny had done upon waking.
