Merlin. They were both talking to him like... like parents. Already. It was that, more than anything else, which told Theodore that they were serious.
There were so many questions on his mind, so many things that he wanted to say, that he didn't even know where to begin. He didn't even know if they were the right questions. Was this something he should have been able to comprehend, and his logic was just failing him? Emotions were no help either.
"I... don't have an answer," he said finally. "I don't know when I'll have one."
A few days hardly seemed like enough time. He needed space to think, but he'd just gotten here, it'd be rude to leave, right? He didn't really want to just walk away, when it wasn't like they'd offended him. He just had no idea how to continue the conversation.
